Properties Palette

The properties palette project had a goal to improve user efficiency and to help modernize the interactions of the application. Previously access to properties was made through a modal dialog. This proved inefficient as the product grew in capability. Moving the properties to a modeless palette proved to be complicated with the smallest interactions requiring subtle nuances.

The project was very successful with interaction efficiency gains of 50-75%.
